LET mistakes stay open until remediation. That is the point

LET mistakes stay open until a remediation retest. Remember never silently resolves a miss. Same bank as mocks. Not a pass chance, not leaked papers.

Seeing the key is not closing the miss

Most LET review folklore treats a wrong item as finished the moment you highlight the letter. That feels like progress. It is usually a bookmark. On LETReviewer.ph a miss stays open on purpose. You can return to the pattern, not only the stem you happened to draw. Recurring misses can enter remediation: explain, cards, scaffold, then a retest. Only a passed retest resolves the mistake.

The rule exists because the official sitting is long and unforgiving of the same habit. The official sitting is still 150 items per paper: BEEd without specialization is 300 items, and BSEd (or BEEd with specialization) is 450. A competency that leaked on Tuesday will leak again in a 150-item paper if you only “reviewed” the rationale. Open mistakes are the product refusing to pretend that looking is the same as proving.

Start from a baseline if you have none. The free LET diagnostic is 30 items, guest OK, Gen Ed and Prof Ed only. It will create misses you can actually work. Specialization is not in that set. Spec practice stays locked while majorship banks grow. Specialization practice stays locked while majorship banks grow. Plus does not unlock it. Timed majorship exams use published items — we do not invent Spec inventory.

How an open mistake is supposed to feel

An open miss should feel slightly unfinished. That discomfort is the feature. A dump lets you swipe to the next stem and call the night a review. The LET Exam Reviewer keeps the row visible so you cannot hide a recurring Assessment of Learning leak behind a new mixed set. The miss is a task, not a badge of shame.

You can still practice. Free includes 25 practice questions per Manila day. That cap is a quota, not a verdict on your stamina. Plus is a one-time pass for more volume. It does not unlock specialization drills, and it does not let you mark a miss resolved by paying. Resolution is a passed retest. Nothing else.

Today’s Mission is the next-action engine. If the honest action is remediation, the dashboard should say so. It is not a generated 90-day calendar. It is not a pass forecast. Decline a fresh mix when the open row is the real work. A tired night is a good reason to stop. It is a bad reason to click Resolve in your head.

When a miss becomes remediation

Not every wrong tap opens a full sequence. A one-off slip can stay as an open mistake you revisit. Recurring, recently recurring, or persistent signals can start remediation. That gate exists so a single careless tap does not force a long path, and so a habit you keep repeating cannot hide in the history list.

Remediation is slower than another 25-item set. You will explain the idea, meet a few cards, then sit scaffolded practice — easier, then medium, then apply — before a retest. Fail the retest and the miss stays open. Pass it and the competency’s open mistakes can resolve. There is no silent side door.

If the bank is thin on a row, we do not invent items to fake a complete path. We do not pull from another subject to hide a Limited state. Flag a stem that looks wrong, outdated, or duplicated. Flags are reviewed before a key changes. We do not sell leaked papers to “complete” a competency you keep missing.

Explain, cards, scaffold, then the retest

The sequence is the study. Explain makes the published idea speak in classroom language. Cards put the hard sentence on a schedule. Scaffold lets you try the judgment with support before the retest asks you to do it without the railing. Skipping to the retest because you are late for a jeepney is how the same distractor wins again.

Instant feedback on practice steps still matters. On Prof Ed, the attractive wrong answer often sounds kind or modern. On Gen Ed, it often sounds like a fact you half-remember. Read why the key fits the stem. Read why the distractor fails. Then put the phone down long enough that the next item is not a blur. Remediation is not a speedrun.

Only the retest may close the row. Seeing the answer key in explain does not. Finishing cards does not. A Plus receipt does not. A high session percent on a later mixed set does not. If that feels strict, compare it to the sitting: 75% composite and a 50% floor, 150 items per paper. Folklore will not be in the room.

Remember never silently resolves a mistake

Remember is spaced review of cards you earned from practice and remediation. Due cards come back on the Manila calendar. Grade Again when the idea is gone. Grade Easy when it is truly easy. That schedule keeps a hard-won gain from fading. It is adjacent to mistakes, not a substitute.

Grading a card never silently resolves a mistake. That sentence is the product contract. A card can feel like closure because you said the idea out loud. The miss stays open until the retest passes. Use both, in that order, when a leak repeats: repair on the remediation path, then let Remember keep the idea from rotting.

Do not farm extra cards to look busy. Due is enough. Today’s Mission may send you to Remember when cards are the honest next action. It may send you back to remediation when they are not. Trust the live record more than a highlight stack. Cards are not leaked PRC items. They are your own misses, scheduled.

Today’s Mission points at the open work

Today’s Mission is the next-action engine: diagnose, practice the leak, remediate, Remember, or mock. It reads your record. It does not invent a study-plan PDF. If you already closed the diagnostic and still have open remediation, the honest button is usually the open path, not a new random set that burns the Free cap.

Mocks need an account. Daily practice and remediation live on the same mastery. A LET Mock Exam will create new misses under a clock — Gen Ed in two hours, Prof Ed in three, rationales after submit. Those misses join the same open list. The mock is not a separate island where errors evaporate because you “already took a test.”

If Mission looks wrong, check the track on your profile and whether a guest diagnostic was claimed. A leftover BEEd mix on a BSEd attempt will mis-weight the next snapshot. Change the track in Settings. Spec silence is not a bug you fix with Plus. Specialization practice stays locked while majorship banks grow. Plus does not unlock it. Timed majorship exams use published items — we do not invent Spec inventory.

Why a mock will reopen what you skipped

A timed paper is where skipped remediation becomes visible. You will meet the same judgment under Annex A clocks. Rationales wait until you submit. Answers save as you go. Sign in so the attempt is not stranded on one phone. After submit, walk the opportunities. Open the misses. Do not screenshot a percent and close the tab.

We grade mocks with a PRC-style 75% composite target and 50% section floor. A brilliant Prof Ed paper does not rescue a 48% Gen Ed floor. Session accuracy is still not Readiness. The number we display is a Readiness Score based on your practice — not a probability of passing. Bands are Behind, Building, On Track, and Exam Ready. They describe this bank, not PRC’s next sitting.

What we will not do with your misses

We will not auto-resolve a mistake because you bought Plus, graded a Remember card, or finished a mixed set with a high percent. We will not sell leaked or recalled papers and call them remediation. We will not scrape other LET sites. We will not call an open-miss count a probability of passing.

We will not unlock specialization practice to soothe a majorship anxiety. We will not invent Spec inventory. We will not hide the 50% floor. We will not treat Niña as a paid unlock — she stays free when she is offered. Flag bad items. Do not silently distrust the whole bank because one stem felt off.

Coverage maps on exam coverage show published structure, not a promise of the next booklet. If you want more volume after the Free 25, Plus is a one-time PayMongo pass. Plus does not unlock Spec. Plus does not close misses. The retest does.

A closing loop you can repeat

Name the miss. Walk explain, cards, and scaffold when the signal says the habit is recurring. Sit the retest. If you pass, let Remember keep the idea. If you fail, the row stays open — that is the point. Then check Today’s Mission instead of inventing a new outline.

When you want pressure, sit one 150-item paper, not three dumped PDFs. BEEd without specialization is 300 items across two papers. BSEd, or BEEd with specialization, is 450. Diagnose first if you have never seen the shape. Guests can finish the 30-item diagnostic. Mocks need sign-in.

Share the loop with a review partner if you want accountability. Do not outsource the miss. Explaining why a distractor almost worked is the study. Copying an answer key is not. We are not affiliated with PRC. The bank is original practice aligned to the Table of Specifications, not a leaked sitting. Readiness is not a probability of passing. Leave the row open until you prove it again.
